Why Batch Traceability Matters to Every Order

Overview

When you order a NovaNAD+ product, you should be able to trust that it is exactly what the label says. Batch traceability is one of the ways we make that trust checkable rather than assumed: every batch is traceable back to production, and every product can be matched to the batch it came from if a question ever comes up.

What a batch is

A batch is a quantity of product made together, from the same materials and under the same conditions. Because a batch shares a single production record, what is learned about one unit applies to the whole batch. That is what makes independent testing meaningful: a result tied to a batch tells you about every vial or pen that came from it, not just the one sample that happened to be tested. The points below explain what this means in practice.

What we keep track of

  • Production: each batch is recorded when it is made, with its own reference.
  • Testing: every batch undergoes third-party testing before it reaches you.
  • Records: test results are kept with the batch they belong to.
  • Dispatch: orders are packed for transit and sent with tracking details.
  • Support: questions about a product can be matched to its batch.

How traceability helps you

If something about a product ever concerns you, traceability means the question can be answered with records rather than guesswork. We can see which batch a product came from, check the testing that batch received and review how it was handled on its way to you. One issue can be investigated quickly and precisely, without affecting every other order that is already on its way to a customer. If you have questions at any stage, our Australian team is just a message away.

What you can do

  • Keep the box: the packaging carries the details that identify your product.
  • Check on arrival: make sure packaging is intact and the items match your order.
  • Store correctly: refrigerate at 2–8°C after opening, away from light and heat.
  • Take photos: if anything concerns you, photograph the product and packaging.
  • Contact us: send the details through our Contact page so we can help.

Traceability and testing

Testing and traceability work together. Independent testing shows that a batch meets its specification, and traceability connects that result to the products in your order. On its own, a test result only describes a sample; linked to a batch record, it describes every product from that batch, which is why we treat both as part of the same promise to every customer.

Conclusion

Traceability is quiet work that most customers never see. It sits behind every order so that quality is something you can check, not just a promise printed on a label. If you have a question about a product you have received, contact our team with the details on its packaging and we will look into it for you.
